About The Position

The Machine Maintenance position is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production and facility equipment. The role follows safety, predictive, and productive maintenance systems and processes to support site business goals and objectives. It is a salaried, non-exempt, full-time position with no direct supervisory responsibilities and no travel required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 4 years of production maintenance experience.
• Ability to perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair.
• Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders.
• Ability to use hand and power tools, electric meters, and material-handling equipment.
• Regular attendance and compliance with safety regulations.
• Physical ability to perform the described duties, with assistance available for lifting anything over 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Associate’s degree in a related field, along with experience.
• Experience with Allen-Bradley control systems.
• Experience with Fanuc robots.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain production machines and facility equipment.
• Perform emergency or unscheduled production-equipment repairs during production and scheduled maintenance repairs during machine service.
• Perform simple machinist duties.
• Use mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic skills to troubleshoot and repair manual and automated production machines.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform maintenance and service.
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test equipment, and make adjustments.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.
• Perform plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions.
• Use hand and power tools, electric meters, and material-handling equipment.
• Detect faulty operations and defective material, and report them and unusual situations to appropriate supervision.
• Maintain regular attendance.
• Comply with safety regulations and keep work areas clean and orderly.
• Perform other duties as assigned or needed.
