About The Position
We are seeking a dependable and mechanically inclined Machine Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair production equipment in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently to minimize downtime. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and a proactive approach to equipment maintenance.
Requirements
- Previous machine maintenance experience is required.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment safely.
- Ability to read maintenance manuals and technical instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Dependable attendance and punctuality required.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on production machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Inspect equipment to identify wear, damage, or potential issues.
- Replace defective parts and make necessary adjustments.
- Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and document repairs performed.
- Coordinate with production personnel to address equipment concerns.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all safety procedures and company maintenance standards.
- Assist with additional maintenance duties as assigned.
