About The Position

Machine Line Operator must follow all Company policies regarding safety, quality and attendance. Able to perform job duties in a safe manner and report all observed safety hazards to the Section Operator. Must ensure a quality product through regular quality checks by reading and verifying line orders and spec sheets. Reports any out of spec products as needed to ensure a quality product is being produced. Properly packages finished goods to include correct use of labels, chips, sleeves, twist ties, pallet patterns and code stamps. Responsible for verifying and executing pallet patterns. Maintains clean work area; meet plant and department housekeeping standards. May be assigned additional housekeeping responsibilities throughout the plant as needed. May be assigned to multiple winders, bag machines, etc., based on bag count and line speed, as deemed necessary by management. Must be able to constantly bend, stoop, and climb to perform regular duties of the job. Able to operate multiple production lines as needed. Responsible for making boxes and packaging bags.
