About The Position

Verneek is seeking an ambitious Machine Learning Engineer to join its core team and build complex AI and NLP models for the Verneek AI platform. The role combines fundamental AI research with implementation on Verneek’s proprietary platform, addressing unique, complex, and socially impactful problems. As an early-stage startup, Verneek works at a fast pace and offers the opportunity to make a significant impact while helping shape the company and its culture.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience with Python.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience developing architectures with machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch.
• Demonstrated AI/NLP engineering skills through deploying large-scale AI/NLP systems to production.
• Work authorization in the USA at the time of hire.

Nice To Haves

• Master of Science degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience in Natural Language Understanding, Dialogue Systems, Semantic Parsing, Transfer Learning, and learning with limited data.
• Experience building models in the commerce or retail domain.
• Working knowledge of Scala.
