About The Position

Kargo Global LLC seeks a Machine Learning Engineer in New York, NY. The role develops and implements machine learning and statistical models to analyze large datasets and generate predictive insights. It analyzes data to identify trends and support business decision-making, builds and maintains pipelines for structured and unstructured data, and applies statistical and data modeling techniques to improve model performance. The engineer evaluates and refines models based on testing and validation results, ensures deployed models are scalable, reliable, and performant, collaborates with teams to translate business needs into data-driven solutions, and prepares and presents analytical findings.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field and five years of experience in data science, data analysis, or predictive modeling; alternatively, a Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in one of these fields and two years of experience in these areas.
Experience with Python and SQL.
Experience with statistical modeling and predictive analytics.
Experience analyzing large datasets.
Experience with data visualization tools.
