About The Position

The Machine Learning Engineer will join the software team developing AI features for medical simulators to make simulation experiences more human-like. The work includes user interface and simulator behavior, with capabilities such as model training, speech, and image recognition. The engineer will develop proprietary software for medical simulation and design, train, test, productize, and deploy machine learning models. They will work with engineering colleagues, management, product management, and other departments to define platform requirements and continuously improve products and deliver value to customers. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics.
• Experience with machine learning, AI, image analysis, and data analytics.
• Experience with Python and Java.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Master’s degree or Ph.D.

Responsibilities

• Develop proprietary software for medical simulation.
• Design, train, test, productize, and deploy machine learning models.
• Work closely with fellow engineers, management, and the product management team to ensure solutions deliver continuous value to end customers.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to define new platform requirements and continuously improve products.
• Integrate work with other engineering departments.
• Work with different teams within Engineering and other company departments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
