Machine Helper - 2nd Shift
About The Position
This role is for a Machine Helper on the 2nd and 3rd shifts, responsible for assisting in the manufacture of corrugated cartons. The helper will support the assistant operator, focusing on machine performance related to waste, efficiency, quality, and uptime. Key objectives include adhering to all company policies (Safety, production, AIB, I.S.O. and quality) and maintaining a clean and safe work area. Specific duties involve assisting machine operators with material loading and production monitoring, strictly following all safety policies and procedures, and performing other assigned duties. Employees are also responsible for following documentation processes as defined in the ISO Quality Manual.
Requirements
- Possess effective interpersonal skills and the ability to follow verbal/written instructions.
- Must be team oriented.
- Must be able to work in temperature extremes inside facility for several hours continuously.
- Must be able to lift 45 lbs.
- Must be able to push up to 45 lbs.
Responsibilities
- Manufacture Corrugated Cartons
- Assist the assistant operator as needed.
- Accountable for machine performance as related to waste, efficiency, quality and uptime objectives.
- Ensure all company policies are adhered to. (Safety, production, AIB, I.S.O. and quality).
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Assist machine operators with loading materials and monitoring production.
- Adhere to and promotes all safety policies and procedures including but not limited to the proper handling of hazardous waste, lock out - tag out rules, hearing and eye protection policies.
- Performs various other job duties and projects as assigned.
- Follow the requirements of their documentation process as defined in the ISO Quality Manual.
