About The Position

GME Supply is seeking a full-time Machine Embroidery Associate for its Customization department in Columbia, Missouri. The role supports clients’ customized-product orders and contributes to the efficient flow and high-quality output of daily customization activities. The associate operates and maintains embroidery machines, selects appropriate materials and art files, prepares products for embroidery, troubleshoots quality issues, documents settings and supplies for future consistency, and finishes orders for staging. The position also involves maintaining a clean and organized workspace, participating in ongoing training and cross-training, and supporting or training teammates as needed. Duties and responsibilities may change as business needs evolve.

Responsibilities

• Clean, maintain, calibrate, program, and adjust machines and settings, and change them as needed.
• Select the appropriate art files, thread, needles, and backing to meet quality and design specifications.
• Hoop products and load and unload items to and from machines to support quality and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot issues during embroidery runs to maintain design and item quality.
• Document machine settings and supplies used for new designs to support consistency on future orders.
• Trim, fold, package, and stage products and orders according to needs and quality standards.
• Participate in and request ongoing individual and team training, including customization training and departmental cross-training; support and train teammates as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace through daily cleaning.
