About The Position

Hydro Extrusions is hiring a Machine (Bender) Operator for its fabrication operations. The operator runs a milling center as assigned by the team leader, inspects material for visual defects, and checks workpieces against drawing specifications using appropriate measuring devices. The role also involves deburring, maintaining machinery and equipment, and ensuring packages are properly labeled and counted before they move to the next operation or ship. The listed starting pay is $21.25 per hour. Available shifts are 1st shift, 5:00 AM–3:00 PM, and 2nd shift, 3:00 PM–1:00 AM. A shift differential of $1.50 per hour applies. Requirements

Proven ability to read and comprehend blueprints.
Proven ability to properly use measuring devices.

Responsibilities

Operate the milling center as assigned by the team leader.
Inspect material for visual defects, including scratches, dents, or bends.
Measure workpieces before and after machining, as needed, to verify they meet drawing specifications.
Stop production and contact the team leader when quality problems arise.
Deburr parts with hand tools as necessary, before and after machining.
Maintain machinery and equipment in good working condition, including oil and coolant levels.
Mark packages with the correct HALNA part numbers, customer part numbers, and piece counts before sending them to the next operation or packaging them for shipment.
