About The Position

This role involves assisting machine operators in a manufacturing environment. Key responsibilities include checking quality, feeding materials into machines, inspecting and bundling items, reporting deficiencies, stacking bales, filling out paperwork, and performing basic maintenance and housekeeping tasks. The position requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work effectively in a team.

Requirements

• Occasional lifting / carrying up to 25 pounds required with more frequent lifting/carrying of 1-20 pounds.
• Reaching below waist and knee, and at waist level, kneeling, squatting, and climbing stairs on rare occasions.
• More frequent hand/wrist work, keyboarding and mousing, power grasping, and pushing/pulling materials.
• More frequent walking left and right-hand work and simple grasping.
• Constantly standing on feet for extended periods of time.
• Must wear protective glasses and earplugs when using compressed air.

Responsibilities

• Check Quality
• Operator backup
• Feed board into machines
• Inspection, counting and bundling of items
• Reporting all deficiencies to the operator immediately
• Stacking of neat bales per work order specification
• Properly filling out top sheets per work order specification
• Obtaining and proper use of top and bottom sheets
• Mounting die boards
• Mounting lead edge stripping die
• Housekeeping (organizing and keeping area neat and clean)
