About The Position

As a Machine Assembler, you are responsible for assembling mechanical and electro-mechanical components into finished equipment according to specifications, blueprints, and work instructions. This role is critical to ensuring product quality, operational efficiency, and on-time delivery. You will work hands-on with tools, parts, and assemblies while maintaining a strong focus on safety, accuracy, and continuous improvement. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Proficiency with hand and power tools
  • Basic understanding of mechanical systems and components
  • Strong attention to detail and quality standards
  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot assembly issues
  • Basic computer skills for documentation and tracking
  • Ability to perform measurements and calculations (fractions, decimals, tolerances)
  • Ability to clearly communicate issues, updates, and handoffs across shifts
  • Ability to work varying shifts (8–12 hours, occasional weekends)
  • Ability to meet production deadlines while maintaining quality standards
  • Strong hand-eye coordination and precision in assembly tasks

Nice To Haves

  • 1–3 years of assembly experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred
  • Experience with mechanical or electro-mechanical systems is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Assemble mechanical and electro-mechanical components, subassemblies, and full machines according to engineering drawings and specifications
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical instructions
  • Ensure proper alignment, fit, and function of all assembled components
  • Inspect components and completed assemblies to ensure quality standards are met
  • Perform basic functional testing and identify defects or inconsistencies
  • Report issues and collaborate with engineering or leadership on corrective actions
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices (calipers, gauges, etc.)
  • Maintain tools in good working condition and follow proper storage procedures
  • Complete assembly documentation, checklists, and production records accurately
  • Track parts usage and notify leadership of shortages or discrepancies
  • Follow all OSHA and company safety standards
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment (5S alignment)
  • Work cross-functionally with machinists, technicians, and engineering teams
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance assembly efficiency and quality
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned to support production and operational goals
