About The Position
Cenveo is hiring experienced Envelope Machine Adjusters to set up, tune, and maintain high speed envelope manufacturing equipment. This role requires strong mechanical skill, troubleshooting ability, and a commitment to safety and quality. Machine Adjuster Requirements/Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma or equivalent. A minimum of 5 years direct envelope experience. Advanced mechanical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Basic math skills and the ability to accurately read a ruler; basic computer skills. Flexibility required with machine assignment. Machine Adjuster Physical Requirements & Work Environment:- Regular standing, walking, carrying, climbing, reaching, bending, stooping. Frequently required to lift and/or move up to 55 pounds with assistance. Exposure to production equipment, noise, hazardous materials (inks, solvents, glue, etc.). Must be able to work in hot or cold weather; Mental alertness to stop equipment. Ability to handle high-speed delivery output in a standing position for a full shift.
Requirements
- 5+ years envelope machine adjusting experience
- Advanced mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of cutting, folding, gluing systems and envelope tolerances
- Detail oriented, safety focused, and reliable
- High School diploma or equivalent
- A minimum of 5 years direct envelope experience
- Advanced mechanical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Basic math skills and the ability to accurately read a ruler; basic computer skills
- Flexibility required with machine assignment
Responsibilities
- Set up, align, and adjust envelope machines
- Perform changeovers, size adjustments, and mechanical repairs
- Maintain machine speed, accuracy, and uptime
- Inspect product quality and minimize waste
- Perform routine cleaning, lubrication, and part replacement
- Install paper, glue systems, tooling, other requirements safely
