About The Position
TEHORA is currently looking for a Scrum Master to support the City of Quebec's teams in implementing Scrum. The selected individual will ensure that the teams adhere to agile principles and values, and will facilitate their autonomy and performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, management, or a related field (or equivalent experience);
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar role in agile teams;
- Proficiency in Scrum principles and values;
- Experience with tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, Trello;
- Excellent facilitation and workshop animation skills;
- Empathy and active listening to understand team needs;
- Ability to resolve conflicts and foster collaboration;
- Servant Leadership.
Nice To Haves
- CSM (Certified Scrum Master), PSM (Professional Scrum Master) certifications (asset)
Responsibilities
- Facilitate Scrum rituals (daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, sprint planning);
- Protect the team from external disruptions and remove obstacles;
- Coach teams on Scrum best practices and continuous improvement;
- Collaborate with the Product Owner to refine the backlog and prioritize tasks;
- Ensure deliverables meet acceptance criteria;
- Promote a culture of transparency, collaboration, and adaptation;
- Document process improvements and lessons learned.
