About The Position

The Mobile Response Team helps to reduce the impact of mental health emergencies through immediate response to crisis situations. The MA Therapist Supervisor - Licensed is responsible for overseeing and guiding a team of therapists to ensure the delivery of high-quality mental health services. This role involves both clinical supervision and administrative duties to support the center's mission of providing effective behavioral health care.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure as a therapist (e.g., LMHC, LCSW, LMFT) in the state of practice.
  • Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in a therapeutic setting, preferably within a behavioral health center.
  • Previous supervisory experience in a mental health or therapeutic environment.
  • Experience in developing and implementing therapeutic programs and interventions.
  • Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to supervise and mentor a team of therapists.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients, staff, and external partners.
  • Proficiency in therapeutic modalities and techniques relevant to the needs of the client population.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions in high-pressure situations.
  • Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to mental health services.
  • Competency in using electronic health records and other relevant technology in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical supervision to a team of therapists, ensuring adherence to best practices and professional standards.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of treatment plans tailored to individual client needs.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to therapy staff.
  • Facilitate team meetings and case conferences to promote collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, ethical guidelines, and organizational policies.
  • Assist in the recruitment, training, and onboarding of new therapy staff.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation.
  • Collaborate with other departments to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.
  • Address and resolve any client or staff concerns in a timely and effective manner.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with industry trends and practices.
