About The Position

CoreFactor is searching for an M365 Support Specialist on a contract basis for a client located in the GTA. This position is hybrid and requires the successful incumbent to be in the office four (4) days per week. We are looking for a versatile and customer-focused IT professional to join our clients User Experience (Modern Workplace) team. In this role, you will provide operational support, consultation, and solution delivery across the Microsoft 365 ecosystem while partnering closely with our Citizen Development program. The successful candidate will work across a diverse portfolio of requests ranging from SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, Power Platform, and Microsoft 365 governance to supporting business owned sites, data and applications developed through our Professional and Citizen Development initiatives. You will collaborate closely with senior team members, platform specialists, business stakeholders, and citizen developers to ensure solutions remain secure, governed, supported, and aligned with enterprise standards.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 services including: SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Lists, Microsoft Forms, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Platform administration, SharePoint permissions and governance.
  • Understanding of identity, access management, and Microsoft 365 security fundamentals.
  • Experience with troubleshooting and supporting enterprise SaaS platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a primary point of contact for operational support and service requests across the Microsoft 365 ecosystem supporting: SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Lists, Forms, Planner, Power Platform, Related Microsoft 365 services
  • Investigate and resolve incidents, service requests, and user issues while maintaining established service levels.
  • Assist with administration activities including permissions, governance controls, lifecycle management, retention, and compliance-related requests.
  • Collaborate with Information Security, Infrastructure, and End User Services teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
  • Identify recurring support trends and recommend opportunities for automation and continuous improvement.
  • Provide Tier 2 support for applications developed through the Citizen Development program.
  • Troubleshoot Power Apps, Power Automate flows, Dataverse solutions, SharePoint-based applications, and integrations.
  • Support application lifecycle management activities including deployment, testing, documentation, change management, and release coordination.
  • Assist business developers with technical guidance, troubleshooting, and best practices as needed.
  • Assist in review of solutions for compliance with governance, security, supportability, and platform standards.
  • Support platform adoption initiatives, learning programs, office hours, and community engagement activities.
  • Develop and maintain low-code solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint, and Microsoft 365 technologies.
  • Create technical documentation, support procedures, knowledge articles, and training materials.
  • Participate in testing activities including System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Contribute to automation initiatives that improve operational efficiency and employee experience.
  • Research emerging Microsoft technologies and evaluate opportunities to enhance business processes.
  • Work directly with business stakeholders to understand requirements and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Translate business needs into technical recommendations and actionable support plans.
  • Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Foster strong relationships with citizen developers and business partners across the organization.
