M1 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME)
About The Position
Synergy Aviation Ltd, a Volatus Aerospace Company has been operating for 10 years in western Canada based at Villeneuve Airport. All team members play a vital role in daily operations by maintaining and applying safe work practices in all companies’ operations. We are looking for self-directed and motivated AMEs to join our busy maintenance department. AMEs are based out of Villeneuve Airport, with minimally required field work and no extended tours away from base.
Requirements
- Hold a current Transport Canada M1 AME license
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills, with strong observational, decision-making and time management skills
- Strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Nice To Haves
- Ideal applicants should have AME experience on Robinson R44, Bell 206, AS350 helicopters or Cessna 172 airplanes. Experience on similar types will be considered as well
Responsibilities
- Conduct maintenance on aircraft
- Perform all maintenance activities in accordance with applicable airworthiness standards
- Ensure all paperwork for assigned tasks is complete and accurate
- Troubleshoot faulty systems and determine corrective actions
- Assist with sheet metal and avionics repairs as needed
- Work on both rotary and fixed-wing aircraft as required
