About The Position

Under the supervision of the Assistant Manager – Vehicle Parts & Service, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of vehicles and small engine along with maintaining the garage inventory, ordering parts and tools.

Requirements

• DEC preferred but must have high school certificate or equivalent experience
• Able to communicate in French and in English, both verbally and written
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Certificate in mechanics (CPA license) or equivalent in experience
• Must have a Valid class 5 driver’s license
• Autonomous and versatile

Nice To Haves

• SAAQ certification is an asset

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain snowmobiles, ATVs (all-terrain vehicles), and outboard motors. recording this in our service log as required and requested by our customers.
• Evaluate all other requests for service from co-op members or external customers, schedule and complete the repairs.
• Provide local training programs aimed at developing technical skills, ensuring knowledge transfer and sustainable maintenance practices.
• Maintain the latest technologies to be able to perform repairs as needed.
• Maintain equipment so that it complies with safety regulations.
• Keep the garage in good working order by cleaning, organizing and eliminating old and defective equipment and parts;
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading technical publications and attending FCNQ-sponsored training sessions;
• Any other related tasks requested by the immediate supervisor or to support the co-ops and the other departments.
