Toromont Cat is looking for a Site Mechanic to join their team! This is a full-time, permanent position. The base salary is only one component of our total compensation program. Discretionary or performance-based bonuses may also be awarded. Requirements

Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in an industrial, manufacturing, mining, or production environment.
Professional experience in the construction or mining sectors (an asset).
Ability to lift and move loads in accordance with safety standards.
High school diploma

Responsibilities

Installation and assembly: Assemble and position heavy equipment (engines, pumps, conveyors) according to precise technical plans and specifications.
Preventive and corrective maintenance: Inspect, lubricate, and replace worn parts (gears, bearings, chains) to prevent unexpected breakdowns.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic problems and carry out necessary repairs.
Machining and welding: Fabricate or adjust custom parts using machine tools (lathes, milling machines) and perform welding and cutting work.
