We are expanding our team and seeking a highly qualified M&A Diligence Analyst who will support the Corporate Development team with our financial due diligence process. This role will be a critical component of our broader due diligence process and will report directly to the Director of M&A Diligence. Qualified candidates should demonstrate knowledge of accounting principles, a passion for performing financial analyses, excellent communication and organizational skills, and a positive attitude and desire to learn from others in a fast paced environment.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field
1 - 3 years in public accounting, FP&A, or a similar accounting focused role
Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with large, unstructured data sets
Strong attention to detail and understanding of accounting concepts
Ability to manage multiple live deals at once and keep each one's status straight against hard deadlines

Nice To Haves

CPA or CPA-eligible
Experience with QuickBooks (Online and Desktop)
Experience in multi-site healthcare, retail, or similar industries

Responsibilities

Own the preparation of a QofE databook, including proof of cash analysis, to evaluate a potential target hospital’s pro forma earnings, historical cash flows, and overall reliability of past financial results
Build financial models and investment memorandums to help the Corporate Development team assess new investment opportunities, perform valuation analyses, and create various purchase price / acquisition structures for potential targets
Work directly with the Corporate Development team, hospital owner (or owners), and sell-side advisors to collect and analyze a target hospital’s transaction level detail
Clearly communicate financial risks, opportunities and results to the Corporate Development team and other key stakeholders involved in the due diligence process
