About The Position

Harris Williams is seeking ambitious, team-oriented individuals who are smart, driven, and principled to join their firm. As an analyst, you will have high exposure to clients and senior bankers, representing the firm throughout the entire client engagement. This role offers diverse projects beyond client work, including recruiting initiatives, mentorship programming, and efforts to generate new client engagements. Professional development is a top priority, with a robust training program in Richmond headquarters for new analysts and associates, designed to build relationships, provide baseline M&A knowledge, and prepare for client engagements. Requirements

  • Ability to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
  • Working towards or already possess a Bachelor's degree from a four-year institution.
  • Maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher.
  • Understanding of Excel formulas, data validation, macros, tables, conditional formatting.
  • Working understanding of how the income statement, cash flow statement and balance sheet connect.
  • Willingness to deepen subject matter expertise over time.
  • Able to identify trends in data and articulate the impact of those patterns.
  • Curious self-starters.
