Associate - Power, Energy & Infrastructure
About The Position

Lazard's financial advisory business advises clients worldwide on strategic and financial matters, including mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, capital structure, and capital raising. The Power, Energy & Infrastructure group works in a generalist capacity across Power & Utilities, Alternative Energy, and Infrastructure verticals, serving global corporations, financial sponsors, governments, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
- At least one year of investment banking experience at the associate level, or an equivalent level of experience in the Power, Energy & Infrastructure Industry
- Strong interest in Power/Energy/Infrastructure investment banking
- Top academic performance with comfort operating in an environment which values initiative, creativity, maturity, and poise
- Strong quantitative background and analytical skills coupled with attention to detail
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills with ability to multi-task
- Motivation to work as a team player and contribute to a positive team culture
- Bachelor’s degree required
Nice To Haves
- an MBA and/or JD would be an asset
Responsibilities
- Perform financial analyses and create models
- Prepare and create client presentations and meeting materials
- Interact with client senior executives
- Help to manage deal processes
- Mentor and coach Analyst bankers
