About The Position

The practice is seeking a compassionate, motivated Physical Therapist or Occupational Therapist to join its established outpatient medical practice on a part-time basis. The therapist will evaluate and treat patients with lymphedema and related swelling disorders and help build and grow a dedicated lymphedema program. Certified Lymphedema Therapist (CLT) credentials are preferred; the practice may assist with obtaining lymphedema therapy certification. The position is based in a modern outpatient medical setting in Pickerington, Ohio, with a supportive, patient-centered team.

Requirements

Current Ohio license as a Physical Therapist (PT), Occupational Therapist (OT), Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), or Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA).
Excellent communication and patient-care skills.

Nice To Haves

Certified Lymphedema Therapist (CLT) credential from an accredited training program.
Experience treating lymphedema patients; preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Evaluate and treat patients with lymphedema and related swelling disorders.
Develop individualized treatment plans.
Perform Complete Decongestive Therapy (CDT), including manual lymphatic drainage, compression bandaging, exercise instruction, and patient education.
Measure patients for compression garments and assist with garment selection.
Document patient care accurately and efficiently.
Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to optimize patient outcomes.
Help establish and expand the growing lymphedema service.
