About The Position

This role is for a forward-thinking technology company that is a leader in well construction and production. The LWD Field Specialist will partner with the best, providing direct instruction and supervision to junior Field Engineers on day-to-day wellsite work and activities. They will also provide advice and direction to external customers and third-party wellsite colleagues, and resolve a diverse range of complex problems at the wellsite where analysis of data requires broad knowledge of the product line's tools and/or services. The work is evaluated by a Field Supervisor, local Operations Management, and the external Customer. The role acts as a project leader and mentors junior field engineers, maintaining frequent intra-organizational and external customer contacts with a high degree of professionalism. As an LWD Field Specialist (Coil Tubing Drilling) in Anchorage, AK, the individual will be responsible for developing and demonstrating proficiency in the skill profile required for delivering Logging while Drilling services at the well site, working in challenging drilling and logging environments to provide complex solutions to the Customer, and successfully completing advanced technical training and assigned well site development programs.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Experience with Coil Tubing Drilling

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct instruction and supervision to junior Field Engineers on day-to-day wellsite work and activities.
  • Provide advice and direction to external customer and third-party wellsite colleagues as appropriate.
  • Provide resolution to a diverse scope and range of complex problems at the wellsite where analysis of data requires having a broad knowledge of the product line's tool(s)and/or service(s).
  • Act as a project leader and mentor junior field engineers.
  • Maintain frequent intra-organizational and external customer contacts with a high degree of professionalism.
  • Execute other related duties as assigned.
  • Develop and demonstrate proficiency in the skill profile required for the delivery of Logging while Drilling services at the well site.
  • Work in challenging drilling and logging environments to provide complex solutions to the Customer.
  • Successfully complete additional advanced technical training and assigned well site development Programs.
