About The Position

Methodist Retirement Communities (MRC), with a mission to honor and serve older adults as an expression of Christ’s love, does so with eight continuing-care retirement communities in Texas. Affiliated with MRC and located in Texarkana, Cornerstone Retirement Community, is a leader in continuing care retirement living offering independent living, assisted living, memory support, skilled nursing and rehabilitation, and home health. Cornerstone is Texarkana's only 5 STAR Community and is proud to be officially certified in the Eden Alternative Registry, which honors those organizations deeply committed to transforming traditional models of care into person-directed approaches that put the individual first. Hours: 6pm-6am in Memory Support

Requirements

Graduation from an accredited vocational school of nursing and current Texas or Texas compact LVN/LPN license required.
Training or experience in geriatric, psychiatric or medical/surgical nursing desired.
Knowledgeable of human development, including the processes of aging, and of social and health problems confronting older persons.
