About The Position

We are looking for skilled LVNs to join our combined Surgical Cardiac Progressive Care unit at our downtown Fresno campus! In this 47-bed unit, you will care for a diverse patient population with various surgical cardiac comorbidities, including post-open heart, Left Ventricular Assist Device, Pulmonary Hypertension trauma, and more! You should be a self-motivated team player eager to learn and ready to contribute to the efforts of this close-knit team. Requirements

  • High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE) or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required
  • Completion of an accredited Vocational Nursing School program OR become licensed by equivalency required
  • BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required
  • LVN - Current State of California Licensed Vocational Nurse License required
  • LVNIVTX - IV Therapy Certification (LVN) required within 180 days of hire or transfer into position
