Requirements

Able to pass pre-employment physical/TB test
Obtain fingerprint clearance as required by our licensure
LVN license
BLS certification
Food Handlers' certification

Responsibilities

Oversee resident documentation and ensure accurate record-keeping, including service plans, physician orders, and incident reports.
Assist in scheduling, training, and supervising staff (LVNs, Med Techs, caregivers, etc.) to ensure proper care and compliance with regulations.
Manage medication administration and treatment processes, ensuring compliance with safety standards and DSS regulations.
Respond to emergency calls and assess resident conditions, notifying the appropriate parties of any changes in care needs.
Assist with the admission and re-admission processes for residents, including setting up medical records and coordinating necessary services.
Monitor and support quality assurance efforts, including incident reporting, wound care, and the implementation of infection control procedures.
Maintain communication with families, physicians, and staff regarding resident care, ensuring updates are provided as needed.
