Weekends - LVN / RN Pediatric Home Health Nurse
About The Position
Angels of Care Pediatric Home Health is seeking compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurses (RN) and Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVN) to provide direct, one-on-one medical care to medically fragile infants, children, and adolescents in their homes. This role involves focusing on the medical needs and treatment of patients according to the active plan of care, conducting ongoing assessments, administering prescribed medications and therapies, coordinating care, and educating family members to promote positive outcomes and preventative health. The position offers full-time and part-time shifts, including days, nights, and weekends, with a strong emphasis on patient-centered care and a supportive company culture.
Requirements
- Active RN or LPN/LVN license (New Grads Welcome, training provided!)
- Provide care in a client home setting
- Ability to make a positive and lasting impression!
Responsibilities
- Focus on the medical needs and treatment of infants, children, and/or adolescents primarily in their home according to the active plan of care, as given by the physician and other appropriate personnel.
- Conduct on-going patient care and assessments.
- Administration of prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies.
- Coordination of care
- Educate family members on patient clinical care to enhance positive outcomes
- Preventative initiatives to protect quality of care for patient
