About The Position

Requirements

  • Current and active California Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in good standing.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily nursing operations and ensure the delivery of high-quality resident care.
  • Supervise, support, and mentor LVNs, CNAs, and other nursing personnel.
  • Promote a positive team culture focused on clinical excellence, resident satisfaction, and professional accountability.
  • Assist with staffing coordination and daily workflow management.
  • Monitor resident conditions and ensure timely implementation of appropriate nursing interventions.
  • Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary team members, residents, and families regarding care plans and treatment goals.
  • Ensure continuity of care and timely communication regarding changes in resident status.
  • Participate in staff orientation, training, coaching, and performance evaluations.
  • Provide ongoing clinical guidance and support to nursing staff.
  • Promote adherence to facility policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation.
  • Maintain compliance with all federal, state, local, and facility regulations.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, audits, surveys, and care conferences.
  • Assist in identifying opportunities to improve clinical outcomes and operational efficiency.
  • Support effective nursing department operations and resource utilization.
  • Address clinical concerns proactively while prioritizing resident safety and quality care.
  • Collaborate with facility leadership to achieve organizational goals and maintain regulatory readiness.
