Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited school of licensed vocational nursing or psychiatric technology required.
• One (1) year service experience working as a nurse in a behavioral health field
• One (1) year medication administration experience required.
• Valid California LVN or LPT license.
• Current CPR certification.

Nice To Haves

• Associate's degree, preferred.
• Supervision for BBS hours for AMFT, ACSW, and APCC professionals (where applicable).

Responsibilities

• Assists with medication support services provided by the psychiatrist, nurse practitioner, or physician’s assistant.
• Medication support services may include but are not limited to; med support appointments, taking vitals, medication education, medication management support and/or administration, including injections.
• Follow up communication, tracking and documentation for labs, prescriptions and appointments.
• Provides direct client care including medications and basic medical intervention and education, following standard nursing practices.
