Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) – Qualcomm Health Center Location: Sorrento Valley, San Diego | Schedule: Full-time, Mon–Fri, 8am–5pm Looking for an LVN role that’s more than just routine? Requirements

  • Active California LVN license
  • AHA BLS Certification
  • At least 1+ years of LVN experience in a primary care or outpatient setting
  • Strong communication and clinical documentation skills
  • Phlebotomy experience
  • Quality improvement and inventory management

Nice To Haves

  • 3+ years LVN experience in an outpatient, primary care setting
  • Laboratory experience
  • Population Heath
  • Electronic Medical Record experience – Epic

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily lab operations, such as phlebotomy, inventory tracking, supply ordering, and follow-up on lab discrepancies.
  • Assist with immigration physicals by verifying and administering immunizations, supporting the provider during the exam, and preparing required documentation.
  • Provide direct patient care through comprehensive assessments, medication administration, patient education and more under the general supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Collaborate with Providers, RNs and Care Coordinators to provide an efficient and effective patient experience.
  • Effectively prioritize urgent needs in real time while demonstrating the flexibility to work both independently and collaboratively within a high-performing team
