This position provides nursing care under the direct supervision of a registered nurse (RN) or physician, adhering to legal scope of practice and established standards. The role involves integrating education, technical competence, and patient interaction skills to build confidence and cooperation with patients, their families, and other healthcare providers. The LVN II will use sound judgment and clinical skills to implement patient care plans in a timely manner. Responsibilities also include supporting the department by distributing supplies and performing equipment maintenance, testing, and setup as needed, while ensuring adherence to all local, state, and federal regulations for patient privacy and safety.
