About The Position

St. Paul's Senior Services is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for their Home Health program. This position involves traveling to participants' homes throughout San Diego County to provide skilled nursing services, including medication administration and wound care. The LVN will maintain participant medical records with thorough documentation and communicate participant changes and progress to the appropriate staff. Requirements

Graduate of a school of Licensed Vocational nursing.
Current California Licensed Vocational Nurse license.
CPR and first aid certification required.
Shall be at least 18 years of age.
A minimum of one year’s experience in working with the frail or elderly population required.
Shall have either training or related experience in the job assigned.
Must be able to clear fingerprints through DOJ and FBI.
Must pass a drug screen clearance.

Responsibilities

Provides skilled nursing services (medication administration, wound care, etc.) to the participants of St. Paul’s PACE in their homes.
Maintains the participants’ medical record with thorough documentation.
