About The Position
This is a 13-week contract position for an LVN/LPN at Moore Place, DeMay Living Center in Newark, NY. The role is focused on behavioral stabilization, medication management, daily routines, and discharge planning within a 20-bed secured neurobehavioral rehab unit specializing in Alzheimer's/dementia with behavioral disturbances. The schedule is a mid shift, 5x8-Hour (14:00 - 22:00), with every other weekend work required. First-time travelers are accepted.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience
- BLS certification
- Experience with behavioral management
- Experience with de-escalation
- Experience with assaultive behavior management
- Experience in SNF/LTC
- Experience with glucose monitoring
- Experience with I&O
- Experience with isolation precautions
- Experience with vitals
- Proficiency in EPIC EMR
