About The Position

The LVA Copper Installer - 2nd Shift position at Eaton's ES AMER ARS PDCAD division involves performing assembly, complex and repetitive wiring, and copper operations to produce complete sub-assemblies and final assembly of ATS equipment. The role requires checking the electrical/mechanical performance of completed assemblies. The hourly rate for this position is $21.00 per hour, with shift hours from 3:30 PM to 2:00 AM. Salary is based on candidate skills, experience, qualifications, and market conditions.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED (General Education Degree) from an accredited institution is required.

No relocation is being offered for this role. All candidates considered must live within 50 miles of the Arden, NC facility. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
Able to lift 35 pounds – waist, shoulder, overhead
Proven history of safe work habits
Must be able to work effectively without direct supervision
Computer skills – Microsoft Office, Internet, etc.
Must be able to work overtime – weekdays and weekends

Responsibilities

Construct, assemble, and/or repair Layout Copper.
Install/Fabricate layout copper to accommodate customer connections.
Ensure that copper connections are braced to meet bracing specifications.
Ensure that all clearance requirements are maintained.
Install and wire electrical devices required per Bill of Material and wire diagrams and schematics.
Ensure a safe work environment for self and others.
