About The Position

We are seeking a friendly, professional Host to join our team in creating a welcoming and efficient environment for our guests. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and experience in customer service or food service settings. This role is essential in ensuring guests have a memorable experience from the moment they arrive and throughout their visit. Previous restaurant, hotel, or guest services experience is highly valued. The Host will be the first point of contact, responsible for managing reservations, greeting guests, and coordinating seating arrangements to optimize flow and guest satisfaction.

Requirements

• Strong communication skills, including clear speaking voice and attentive listening skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent phone etiquette and guest relations skills are essential for success in this role

Nice To Haves

• Prior host/hostess experience preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
• Food service or restaurant experience is a plus, especially familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Experience in hospitality, guest services, serving, or hotel operations is advantageous

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements
• Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and needs promptly
• Maintain a clean and organized host stand area
• Communicate effectively with the kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth operations
• Handle phone inquiries with professional phone etiquette and provide information about the restaurant or hotel services
• Assist with guest relations to enhance overall guest experience
• Support other front-of-house duties as needed to ensure high standards of hospitality are maintained
