Jaguar/Land Rover at West Columbia is hiring a Luxury Automotive Service Advisor! Jim Coleman Automotive is a 3rd generation family-owned dealership that has been selling and servicing cars in the Washington Metropolitan and Bethesda areas since the 1950s. Requirements

  • Minimum 1-2 years "high line" automotive experience
  • Excellent CSI required
  • Proven experience as service advisor to maximize profit
  • The ability to see the service experience through the eyes of the guest
  • A "whatever it takes" mindset
  • Tech savvy with working knowledge of computer systems and databases
  • Able to balance a customer-oriented and a results-driven approach
  • Patient and comfortable dealing with customers
  • Professionalism and outgoing personality
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Outstanding organizational and multi-tasking abilities
  • Willing to learn and take direction

Nice To Haves

  • Jaguar Land Rover experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide timely updates
  • Assist customer with needs/requests
  • Greeting customers at the service lane
  • Consulting with technicians regarding necessary repairs and possible alternatives to expensive repairs
  • Use your knowledge of our products and services to sell or provide in-depth information about available parts and service options to customers
  • Answering questions about service outcomes and scheduling and booking appointments, vehicle drop-off, and vehicle pick-up
