Requirements

  • Two to four years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Passion for Luxury Automobiles: A genuine love for the craftsmanship and prestige of Cadillac vehicles.
  • Customer-Centric Communication: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage and educate customers on the value of premium vehicle maintenance.
  • Team Player: Thrive in a collaborative, family-oriented environment where teamwork is essential for success.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and schedule service appointments, providing exceptional service to luxury clientele.
  • Greet customers warmly, assess vehicle issues accurately, and articulate service recommendations with finesse.
  • Provide detailed and accurate estimates for labor and parts, ensuring transparency and trust.
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction standards by keeping customers informed, obtaining authorizations, and delivering top-notch service.
  • Sells and schedules needed service work in the service department.
  • Obtains customer and vehicle data prior to arrival when possible.
  • Writes up customer's vehicle problems accurately and clearly on repair order.
  • Refers to service history, inspects vehicle, and recommends additional needed service.
  • Advises customers on the care of their cars and the value of maintaining their vehicles in accordance with manufacturers' specifications.
  • Establishes "promised time."
  • Checks on progress of repair throughout the day.
  • Contacts customers regarding any changes in the estimate or promised time, explains cost and time requirements in detail, and gets proper authorization before any additional repairs are performed.
  • Reviews repair orders to ensure that work is completed and additional work and authorization is noted.
  • Closes repair order as appropriate.
  • Explains completed work and all charges to customers.
  • Handles telephone inquiries regarding appointments and work in process.
  • Maintains a customer call back sheet for follow up ten days out.
  • Test drives the vehicle with customer as needed to confirm the problem or refers to test technician.
  • Notifies dispatcher of incoming work.
  • Implements and maintains a service marketing program.
  • Ensures that vehicles are parked in assigned areas.
  • Makes sure they are locked and all keys are marked and put away correctly.
  • Inspects all vehicles for body work, informs customer if work is needed, and provides an estimate for body work.
