About The Position

Ben Bridge Jeweler, a subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway with over 110 years in business and thirty-two stores across the United States, is seeking a full-time sales associate for its El Paso store. The company is committed to providing customers with quality jewelry and a memorable experience, aiming to build lifelong relationships. Jewelry is viewed as more than an adornment, but as a means of expression, love, personality, and history that grows in meaning over time. The ideal candidate will have experience in fine jewelry and/or watch sales, or other luxury sales experience. Ben Bridge Sales Associates are described as energetic, committed to creating unforgettable moments, self-starters who love jewelry and building relationships, and capable of working both independently and in teams. They present merchandise with enthusiasm and creativity.

  • Excellent listening, written and verbal communication skills; must be fluent in English
  • Minimum of 2 years of selling experience in a retail environment; or a combination of 3+ years of customer service experience and education
  • Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Develop authentic relationships with customers by assessing their needs, making personalized product recommendations and creating a memorable experience
  • Cultivate an in-depth knowledge of products and provide product knowledge, features and benefits to all customer when presenting merchandise
  • Connect with existing and potential customers and maintain customer information utilizing company supported technology
  • Inspect and clean customers' jewelry and consult on repairs for jewelry and timepieces
