About The Position

Cadre is seeking a Luxury Handyman Technician to join their team. This role involves performing a broad range of handyman services in high-end luxury residences, ensuring the aesthetic and functional integrity of properties. The technician will also be responsible for preventative maintenance, addressing maintenance requests, coordinating with vendors, documenting work, and responding to urgent maintenance situations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various repair disciplines and a commitment to quality workmanship in a luxury setting.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum 3 years of handyman or property maintenance experience, preferably in luxury or high-end residential settings.
  • Proficient across a broad range of repair and maintenance disciplines including carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical, and general finish work.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Professional appearance and communication style — you will be working directly in clients' homes.
  • Ability to manage time independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and work without close supervision.
  • Comfortable using digital tools for scheduling, documentation, and communication.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical labor in a variety of indoor and outdoor environments.
  • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces as needed.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation.
  • Must pass a background check.
  • Discretion and respect for client privacy is non-negotiable.

Nice To Haves

  • Technical training, trade certification, or relevant coursework preferred.
  • The ability to speak both English and Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Perform a broad range of handyman services including carpentry, drywall repair, painting, fixture replacement, caulking, weatherproofing, and finish work in high-end luxury residences.
  • Complete minor plumbing, electrical, and HVAC-related tasks within scope of licensure and expertise.
  • Maintain the aesthetic and functional integrity of luxury properties with a keen eye for quality and detail.
  • Execute scheduled preventative maintenance visits to identify and address issues before they escalate.
  • Ensure all systems, fixtures, and finishes are functioning and presenting at the standard expected in a luxury home.
  • Address maintenance requests promptly and professionally, treating each home with the care and discretion expected of a luxury service provider.
  • Perform touch-ups, minor repairs, and general upkeep to keep properties in pristine condition between larger service efforts.
  • Collaborate with subcontractors and specialty vendors when work falls outside of scope.
  • Monitor quality of third-party work to ensure it meets Cadre's standards before closeout.
  • Maintain accurate records of all work performed, materials used, and time spent per visit.
  • Communicate any significant findings or potential concerns to the cadreCare™ Director promptly.
  • Be available to respond to urgent maintenance situations as they arise — this role is on call for emergency damage containment only, not emergency repair services.
  • Respond efficiently and professionally to resolve issues with minimal disruption to the homeowner.
