About The Position

The Luxury Dining Server is responsible for providing a world class in-room dining experience for our most valued guests. This role will ensure food and drink quality, while maintaining daily presentation of Ghost Kitchen. The Ghost Kitchen Luxury Dining Server will work to ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction through the accurate and timely delivery of all orders and amenities received to rooms not serviced by VSAs. The server should be able to anticipate guests' needs and address them accordingly to provide guests with a delightful experience. Additionally, the servers should maintain a clean work environment and help keep the Ghost Kitchen area organized as instructed by the management team. Fine dining service a must!

Requirements

  • Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English.
  • Polished appearance and demeanor.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to obtain & maintain full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules and regulations, policies and procedures.
  • Ability to competently fulfill tray service for every aspect of service to guests
  • Must be 21 years of age
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 6 months in previous work setting
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
  • Alcohol Awareness Card
  • Food Handler Card
  • Non-Gaming Card

Nice To Haves

  • Previous working experience in a large, luxury resort setting.

Responsibilities

  • Must clock in on time and no earlier or later than the schedule shift unless requested to do so by Management.
  • Assist guests courteously and efficiently.
  • Follow proper room entry etiquette.
  • Always have a radio for immediate assistance of guest
  • Set up silverware & linen, and clear tables from rooms, floor landings, and dish pit in accordance with Resorts World standards.
  • Extensive knowledge of food and beverage menu offerings to service and up sell our product, including liquors and cocktails.
  • Deliver buckets of ice, amenities and all guest requests into guest rooms not serviced by VSAs.
  • Deliver and serve food orders in accordance with all Resorts World & Forbes standards following sequence of service.
  • Present physical and accurate checks to guests and complete the payment process.
  • Use personal device/cellular phone for job related operational tasks, job duties, review of company documents, etc.
