About The Position

MultiVersity Housing Partners is looking for a luxury housekeeper/porter to join its growing team. This is an area position servicing Pittsburgh’s Southside, Lawrenceville, and Downtown/Fifth Ave areas. Friendly work environment, competitive pay, benefits, and time off plus a $500 Sign on Bonus after the first 60 days of employment! Position is available late February 2026/March 1 2026.

Requirements

Must be available to be onsite M-F and available to travel between the South Side, Lawrenceville, and Downtown/Fifth Ave areas of Pittsburgh. Multiple locations each week.
Must be able to follow instructions with property manager and Maintenance Supervisor of the buildings.
The ability to lift at least 40 pounds or more.

Responsibilities

Maintains trash compactor rooms in the basement and all trash rooms in the building.
Helps clean and maintain storage and shop areas.
Maintains interior amenity spaces, common areas and curb appeal for the building.
Performs light maintenance duties in building and apartments including painting, power washing, and other tasks.
Cleans vacant apartment units as needed.
Snow removal when needed at all properties within portfolio.
On-Call after hours maintenance page outs - personal transportation required
Maintain (weed eat and spray weeds)
Clean up trash in and around buildings, parking lots, and parking garages
Clean windows, wipe furniture and remove any trash and/or clutter, clean all hard surfaces. Be sure all areas are clean and clear of any debris and/or trash.
Sweep and mop floors- move furniture and be sure to get underneath.
Wipe walls of elevators, sweep and mop elevator floors
Sweep and/or mop all hallways (including stairwells) every visit; wipe doors if needed and clean any spills etc + dispose of any loose trash.
Keep scent air batteries up to date and add refills
Trash rooms and compactor areas- in addition to running compactors and removing trash all areas need to be cleaned using the foaming machine (at least monthly), floors swept and moped with every visit)
Any time areas are professionally cleaned and/or trash is professionally hauled away, porters must thereafter maintain areas to ensure proper upkeep.
