About The Position

This role involves stocking, filling shelves and cases with chicken, fresh and frozen meats. Responsibilities include waiting on customers, unloading trucks, general cleaning of the department, putting away meat department delivery loads, and performing other general duties as needed. The job requires inspecting meat products for freshness, facing merchandise in the department, and filling shelves and cases. Other activities include climbing ladders/stair towers to reach stock, stacking off pallets, receiving shipments, assisting customers, stocking and rotating product, and answering calls. The work environment involves normal exposure to weather and temperature extremes, with cooler and freezer exposure not exceeding 1 hour at a time. The average back room temperature is 34°F.
