About The Position
Montgomery County Public Schools in Virginia is accepting applications for a part-time lunch and recess aide position at Margaret Beeks Elementary School. This is a part-time, hourly position. The lunch and recess aide maintains order among children, assists in the directing of the students to and from the cafeteria, performs general housekeeping in the cafeteria, and assists cafeteria staff with any other necessary duties. The lunch and recess aide assists in the directing of the students to and from the playground and classroom, communicates with teachers about student behavior during recess, and assists teachers with any other necessary duties.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to communicate effectively with students and co-workers
- Have previous experience working with children
- Dependability and punctuality required
Responsibilities
- Maintains order among children
