About The Position

A Lunch Aide is needed for the 2026–2027 school year at John F. Kennedy Elementary School. The position works approximately 10:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m., three days per week, at an hourly wage of $17.91. No benefits are associated with the position. Candidates must apply online through the job posting. Parents and/or grandparents of Meadowside students are not eligible to apply; phone calls are not accepted. Under general supervision, the Lunch Aide monitors children during lunch waves, assists students while they eat, cleans tables, and prepares the lunchroom for the next lunch wave. The role requires standing for at least one and one-half hours per day, communicating with children, and tolerating moderate to loud noise levels. A background check and tuberculosis (TB) screening are required.

Requirements

High school graduation or an equivalent qualification, such as a GED, college, technical or trade school transcript, or foreign equivalency.
Ability to stand for at least one and one-half hours per day.
Ability to communicate with children.
Ability to withstand moderate to loud noise levels.
Background check required.
Tuberculosis (TB) screening required.
