About The Position
Hamshaw Lumber is seeking a Warehouse Associate to assist customers, receive inventory shipments, and support various areas of the business. This role offers full-time and part-time opportunities. The company values quality materials and exceptional customer service.
Requirements
- Ability to read, comprehend, and communicate effectively
- Follow simple instructions and work well in a team
- Multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Must pass pre-employment assessments
- Work in outdoor/indoor conditions and lift up to 80lbs
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
Nice To Haves
- Fork Truck certification is a plus
- Weekend, holiday, and special event availability
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service
- Build loads for delivery
- Load and unload lumber and building supplies
- Operate forklift
- Keep management informed of any delays or discrepancies
- Maintain a clean, well-organized, and safe lumber yard
- Participate in occasional deliveries
