You’ll be out in the elements, loading and unloading rail cars and flatbed trailers like a pro, keeping materials moving and operations running strong. This role is perfect for someone who’s dependable, can take charge with minimal direction, and rolls with whatever the day throws their way. If you enjoy working outdoors year-round and staying active on the job, this is your kind of role. You’ll report to the site supervisor and be a key part of the team in this full-time, non-exempt, hourly position.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent (preferred)
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • 1 year Lumber Yard Experience
  • 1 year Large Forklift (10k or higher) Experience
  • Rail car Experience a plus
  • Must be able to lift 25 lbs. unassisted
  • Must be able to walk, bend, lift, and stand throughout the duration of the shift
  • Must be flexible with working in multiple site locations
  • Pre-hire Drug Screening Required
  • Background Screening Not Conducted

Responsibilities

  • Operate 5K, 10K and 15K Forklifts
  • Load lumber onto flatbed trailers
  • Move and stack materials
  • Move rail cars on the line
  • Strap products into gondolas
  • Fall Protection Certification
  • Unstrap and secure rail cars
  • Unload box cars
  • Receive and process shipments
  • General housekeeping duties in production areas
  • Comply with and adhere to all safety policies and regulations
  • Perform proper forklift inspections and adhere to all forklift operating guidelines and procedures
