About The Position

Franklin Logistics is seeking a Forklift Operator to join their team. This role is crucial for maintaining the fast and efficient movement of products within the warehouse. The operator will use sit-down forklifts with single, double, and standard forks to pick items with precision and speed. This position is ideal for a reliable, adaptable individual who thrives in a busy, fast-paced environment and can work independently with minimal direction. The Forklift Operator will report to the site supervisor and may work across multiple locations to ensure smooth operations. This is a full-time, non-exempt, hourly position.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• 1 year Forklift (5k or higher) Experience Required
• Must be able to lift 25 lbs. unassisted
• Must be able to walk, bend, lift, and sit throughout the duration of the shift
• Must be flexible with working in multiple site locations
• Pre-hire Drug Screening Required

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 1 year Warehouse Experience

Responsibilities

• Operate 5K and 12K Forklifts
• Utilize Single-Double Forks
• Load and unload trailers
• Complete Rack Put-away
• Cylinders (Kitting & Non-Kitting)
• Combi operations
• Operate Roll Clamp
• Unload stone from rail
• Receive and process shipments using RF Scanners
• Use proper handling instructions per product specifications
• Document product damages as they are identified
• General housekeeping duties in production areas
• Comply with and adhere to all safety policies and regulations
• Perform proper forklift inspections and adhere to all forklift operating guidelines and procedures
