About The Position
Great Southern Wood Preserving, Inc., producer of the YellaWood brand Pressure-Treated Pine, is seeking Lumber Taggers. This is a full-time position offering competitive pay and a full benefit package. Regular hours are 11pm-7am. Additional hours should be expected.
Requirements
- Regularly required to stand for extended periods and use hands to handle materials
- Frequent walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
- Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Nice To Haves
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- Previous production experience preferred
- Lumber experience a plus!
Responsibilities
- Loads/unloads materials
- Stacks/moves lumber
- Assists in assembling fence panels and other products using nail gun
- Attaches product tag labels to merchandise, material, or product with hand held industrial stapler machine
- Checks items for proper identification
- Reports quality deficiencies, shortages, and/or damaged goods
- Keeps record of inventory and check items for proper identification
