About The Position
Great Southern Wood Preserving, Inc. producer of Yellawood® brand Pressure-Treated Pine is seeking FORKLIFT OPERATORS for the location in Tuscumbia, AL. This is a full-time position offering competitive pay and full benefit package. Drives industrial forklift truck to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials by performing the following duties. Regular hours are 11pm-7am. Additional hours to be expected.
Requirements
- Must have previous forklift experience
Nice To Haves
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- Lumber experience a plus!
Responsibilities
- Moves levers and presses pedals to drive truck and control movement of lifting apparatus.
- Positions forks, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, or materials and transports load to designated area.
- Unloads and stacks material by raising and lowering lifting device.
- Inventories materials on work floor, and supplies workers with materials as needed
- Keeps record of inventory.
