About The Position

Robinson Lumber Company, Inc. seeks a Lumber Sales Representative to sell wholesale North American hardwood lumber and related wood products to business customers, with a primary focus on furniture manufacturers and clients in Vietnam. This role involves managing and expanding sales, developing new customer relationships, and analyzing market trends. The representative will communicate professionally in English and Vietnamese, prepare and negotiate sales contracts, and coordinate with internal teams for order fulfillment. Travel to Vietnam and within the United States is expected.

Requirements

Two (2) years of verifiable experience in lumber sales or furniture manufacturing sales.
Fluency in English and Vietnamese.
Pre-employment criminal background check and drug screening required.

Responsibilities

Sell wholesale North American hardwood lumber and related wood products to business customers, primarily in Vietnam.
Coordinate with product sourcing and logistics teams to prepare timely and accurate sales offers.
Manage and expand sales of hardwood lumber products to assigned customer accounts.
Develop new customer relationships and identify additional market opportunities.
Communicate professionally in English and Vietnamese with customers, suppliers, and internal teams regarding product specifications, pricing, availability, and delivery schedules.
Prepare and negotiate customer quotes, contracts, and sales terms, incorporating all applicable costs.
Enter and maintain sales activities, customer information, and opportunities in Salesforce CRM.
Coordinate with sales operations to schedule orders, shipments, and bookings.
Monitor inventories and product availability.
Respond to customer inquiries and resolve post-sale issues.
Analyze market conditions and sales trends to identify growth opportunities.
Attend trade shows and industry events.
Maintain accurate sales records, reports, and documentation.
